How to Get a Salon Blowout at Home in 8 Minutes with a Thermal Brush
Share
A blowout used to mean a salon appointment or a workout with a round brush and a dryer. A thermal volumizing brush like Lumelyy Silk does both jobs in one pass. Here is the technique.
Step 1: start on towel-dried hair
Rough-dry to about 80% first; the brush works best finishing damp hair, not soaking hair.
Step 2: section and lift
Work in sections the width of the brush. Place it under the roots, lift straight up for a second, then glide slowly to the ends. That lift at the root is where the volume comes from.
Step 3: shape the ends
Turn the brush under at the ends for a bouncy finish, or flick out for waves. Use the heat-safe glove to guide sections without burning your fingers.
Heat settings
Fine hair: low. Normal: medium. Thick or coarse: high. Two passes on low beat one pass on high for shine.
Make it last
Let each section cool before touching it, then a light mist of spray. Waves typically hold into day two.
